Paying For Your Treatment

We know that the cost of dental care is a concern to lots of individuals as is the care provided for your children.

At our surgery, quality is affordable...

Adult Patients

At Mill Dental Centre we are only too aware of patients concerns regarding the expense of dental treatment. We do our best to alleviate those fears by providing high quality care at affordable prices.

There are two methods of payment at the surgery.

Treatment may be paid for as it is provided, or you may wish to join Denplan which, for a modest monthly subscription covers the cost of most treatment. Please ask for details.

Whatever payment method you choose, you can be assured of a very high standard of care and materials.

What about your children?

We love seeing children at our surgery and we do our best to make the experience of coming to the dentist a fun one.

We must be doing it right because the children we used to see are now bringing their children!

Payment Options

Paying Privately

Choosing to pay privately is an option available for payment at our surgery.

When you come in for your checkup, your dentist will discuss your treatment needs with you, if any further treatment is required.

Having discussed your treatment with your dentist our receptionist will give you your estimate with your charges broken down. This means that you'll see the fee for each individual item and so you are fully aware of the cost for each service that has been prescribed.

At the end of each visit we ask that you pay just for the treatment carried out in that visit. We do not ask that you pay for the whole course up front, just that you pay as you go. This means that you can make your appointments at intervals suitable for your budget.

We accept payment by cash, cheque or credit card ~ for which there is no additional fee.

Paying with Denplan

What is Denplan?

Denplan is a dental payment plan. Your dentist will assess you and tell you which category you are in. You can then choose to make your payments by monthly direct debit or by an annual payment.

What treatment is covered?

All routine dental care is covered by your Denplan membership. This means that any fillings, root fillings, x-rays, check ups, extractions, visits to the hygienist and other procedures are all included in your Denplan membership. If you require work carried out by a laboratory you only pay the laboratory fee because the procedure carried out within our practice is included in your Denplan membership.

How can you join?

It's very simple to become a Denplan patient. You have to be dentally fit to be accepted so once you've finished your course of treatment, speak to your dentist and he will arrange the application forms for you. As long as you have your banking details we can sign you up straight away... it really is as simple as that!

You can find more information about Denplan on their website here
